Your computer has been updated to run Safari Montage, a digital video and image delivery system we have purchased for this school year. Thousands of high-quality educational videos from trusted producers, such as PBS, A& E, Schlessinger Media, History Channel, BBC, and National Geographic are available in Safari. Full length videos are already divided by chapter and further indexed by key concepts. You may build custom playlists, add links to PowerPoints; save, name and play small segments of any video (5 seconds or longer); search by grade level, WI standards, subject or producer. Most videos have Closed Captioning, Spanish or English and the ability to slow down or speed up the delivery. The server is placed in our building, which eliminates the bandwidth issues of streaming video over the internet.
To find Safari Montage, use the link at the bottom right on the MASH homepage and login with your network username/password, or click here to get started.
Please stop in the library if you would like help learning this powerful video tool. We would recommend building a folder system in Safari Montage to organize your clips and videos before you begin to save content.
